for everyone: Our Cross country skiing and snowshoeing
trails offer a great variety of treks through the beautiful Maine
woods. The lodge area provides a perfect start for first time skiers.
Novice skiers will enjoy a variety of beginner terrain, while more
advanced skiers will find plenty of challenging terrain for both
classic and ski skating. 100km of groomed trail loops include routes
through the village and lodging facilities at the base of Sugarloaf.
The
Lodge and The Hut: The
beautiful solar-heated lodge and newly constructed trailside warming
hut, are friendly starting and stopping points for the day. Fresh
baked muffins, simmering soups and stews, and hearty sandwiches
are just a few of the refreshments you'll find at the Klister Kitchen
Cafe, famous for it's homemade lunches.
