Every morning the first lifts begin their 2100 ft. climb
to the peak of Loon Mountain. Forty-four trails and five tree skiing
runs stretch out below, each artistically designed and expertly
maintained. From relentless top-to-bottom snowmaking to fanatical
grooming, we take pride in providing our pristine tree-skiing, mogul
fields, steeps and cruisers the attention they deserve.
Nordic
Adventures: The
Adventure Center can be found diagonally across from the gondola,
next to the ice-skating rink. The Center is complete with all your
cross-country, telemark, snowshoeing, and ice-skating rentals, plus
an indoor climbing wall, along with a full-service shop and a variety
of workshops to sharpen your skills and educate your mind.
Equestrian
Center: Experience
the beauty of the White Mountain National Forest on horseback all
year long. Loon's experienced guides lead trail rides through the
woods down winter cross-country trails along the East Branch of
the Pemigewasset River. A horseback ride in the beautiful outdoors
surrounding Loon Mountain can be a memorable adventure for everyone.
The Equestrian Center is tucked in the woods 1.5 miles west of Loon
Mountain.
